The GUESS-WHy project was featured at the 89th Thessaloniki International Fair, where participants discovered more about our efforts to improve the safety and sustainability of hydrogen and fuel cell systems.
The project is developing seven Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) guidelines for hydrogen technologies across the value chain, including production, storage, and utilization. These guidelines provide both impact assessments and practical recommendations, helping industry and regulators adopt safer and more sustainable hydrogen solutions.
Being part of the Thessaloniki’s International Fair allowed us to showcase the importance of safety and sustainability in hydrogen innovation, reach out to new stakeholders, and emphasize how structured methodologies such as SSbD can accelerate the adoption of hydrogen in Europe.
