From May 26 to 29, 2025, the partners of the GUESS-WHy project came together in Tallinn, Estonia, for a meeting that combined strategic planning, creative idea generation, and cross-partner collaboration. The meeting began with a General Assembly session held within Ulemiste City, a leading smart business district in Tallinn known for its innovation-driven environment and international talent community, where participants reviewed the project’s progress, discussed current challenges, and aligned on upcoming milestones.
The core of GUESS-Why week focused on five structured Idea Generation Workshops. These sessions were designed to encourage open dialogue, foster creativity, and explore new approaches to achieving the project’s objectives, always in line with the Ecodesign Wheel methodology. Through collaborative brainstorming and group discussions, participants worked together to refine ideas that will shape the next phases of the project.
A noteworthy addition to the agenda was a site visit to Stargate Hydrogen’s facilities, a GUESS-Why partner, offering firsthand insight into their innovative work regarding electrolyzer stack manufacturing and enhancing mutual understanding among consortium members.
Beyond the technical and strategic discussions, this meeting helped build stronger working relationships among partners from different countries and organisations, an essential part of any successful collaboration. Many thanks to all who contributed their time, energy, and expertise and a special thanks to Stargate Hydrogen for hosting this meeting.
