GUESS-WHy was proud to participate in the 4th Hydrogen Summer ScH₂ool, held from 29 June to 3 July 2026 at the University of Western Macedonia in Kozani, Greece. Bringing together students, researchers, and industry professionals, the 4th Hydrogen Summer ScH₂ool offered an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and promote innovative hydrogen technologies.
During the event, Prof. Giovanni Cinti, Coordinator of GUESS-WHy, presented the project’s vision, objectives, and latest progress, highlighting how the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) approach is driving the development of safer and more sustainable hydrogen technologies.
The 4th Hydrogen Summer ScH2ool was organised by the Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia (CluBE) in collaboration with the University of Western Macedonia (UoWM), with the support of the Region of Western Macedonia. It was held within the framework of the H2VE – Hydrogen Valley Vocational Excellence project, a GUESS-WHy’s sister project as well, which is also coordinated by Prof. Giovanni Cinti.
This connection highlights a shared commitment to advancing hydrogen research while strengthening education, skills development, and innovation for the clean energy transition.
