On Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, the Umbria Hydrogen Day took place at Hotel Valentino in Terni, bringing together more than 170 stakeholders from public institutions, industry, research organizations, and academia. The event provided a high-level forum to discuss strategic priorities and concrete actions for advancing the hydrogen sector in the Umbria region and beyond.
The event was jointly organized by the Region of Umbria, Sviluppumbria, and the University of Perugia, with the overarching objective of strengthening the hydrogen value chain at regional, national, and European levels. A central ambition of the initiative was to position Umbria as a proactive and credible contributor to the energy transition through the development of a competitive, innovative, and sustainable hydrogen ecosystem.
Within this context, the GUESS-WHy project was presented during the event through a dedicated presentation session. Its inclusion was motivated by its strong alignment with the event’s thematic focus, particularly its contribution to innovation, sustainability, and the deployment of hydrogen-related solutions that support regional and European energy transition objectives.
