On June 13th, 2025, during the presentation of the EU project URBAN IMPRINT in Foligno (Perugia), Giovanni Cinti, coordinator of the GUESS-WHy project and representative of the University of Perugia, presented GUESS-WHy as a key example of how EU-funded research can support local and regional development.
Within a broader talk on energy-focused EU funding opportunities for the Umbria region, Dr. Cinti introduced the project’s objectives, partners, funding framework, and methodological approach with particular attention to the use of Life Cycle methodologies to support informed decision-making in the energy sector. The presentation underlined GUESS-WHy’s contribution to creating safe and sustainable by design (SSbD) guidelines tailored to regional energy needs.
